Join us for our monthly Building Administration Chapter meeting, featuring guest speakers from Statistics Canada.

This month’s session will focus on the new Building Permit Survey reporting requirements that came into effect in 2026. Statistics Canada will provide a follow-up presentation and interactive Q&A session designed to:

• Review the new reporting requirements and reporting expectations


• Address common questions and areas of uncertainty identified by municipalities


• Provide clarification on reporting processes and data submission requirements


• Share guidance and best practices to help support accurate and consistent reporting

The session will be interactive and informative, giving members the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and gain valuable insights directly from the Statistics Canada team.

Statistics Canada has also invited members to submit specific topics or questions in advance so they can tailor the presentation to best support the needs and interests of our Chapter.
