Hello Building Administration Chapter Members,

Please join us for our next OBOA Building Administration Chapter meeting, where we will welcome Jaymie Davies, Building Inspector, for a presentation on the residential building inspection process and the key stages of construction inspections.

Jaymie will provide an overview of the major inspection milestones that building department staff regularly encounter, including:

• Foundation / Backfill Inspection


• Underground Plumbing Inspection


• Rough-In Plumbing Inspection


• Framing Inspection


• Insulation Inspection


• Occupancy Inspection

The session will highlight what inspectors look for at each stage, common deficiencies, and practical information to help building administration professionals better understand the inspection process and support applicants throughout their projects.
